(Hong Kong, 21May 2018) Sinosoft Technology Group Limited(“Sinosoft Technology” or the “Group”, HKEX: 1297 ) is pleased to announce that the Legal Services of China (http://www.12348.gov.cn), which the Group developed for the Ministry of Justice was officially launched on 20 May 2018. To make the launch solemn, the Ministry of Justice held a launching ceremony and press conference to introduce the Legal Services of China. Major officials of various departments of the Ministry of Justice attended and answered questions from journalists.   

 

During the launching ceremony, Minister of Justice - Mr. Fu Zhenghua, said the State Council attaches great importance to the construction of the public legal service system. The official launch of the Legal Servicesof China is an innovation and reform for the public legal service model and has taken a key step in public legal service system development.

 

Vice Minister of Justice – Mr. Xiong Xuanguo, mentioned in the press conference that the Legal Services of China began trial on 20 December 2017. During the five months ended 19 May 2018, even though the Legal Servicesof China was not publicized, the system has been used for atotal of 1.3 million times, and the registered public has exceeded 20,000 people. Over 80,000 legal consultations was carried out, including over 60,000 intelligent consultations. More than 30,000 legal opinions have been issued, and over 5,000 times of online consultations have been made, which were all answered. The appreciating rate of online consultations reached 93%. All of these indicate that the initial launch of the Legal Services of Chinahas been recognized by the public.

 

Mr. Xiong also said that the Legal Services of China has achieved the central policy direction of using modern information technology to facilitate the public legal service system. The Ministry of Justice will continue to enhance the features of the system and propel the development of central and provincial legal service networks, so as to provide quality and convenient public legal services for citizens.
