National Grid Emission Factor Analysis System

The electricity emission factor analysis and query system is a software platform that integrates the calculation, query, and analysis of grid CO2 emission factors. It can accurately calculate the CO2 emissions implied by the unit electricity consumption (i.e. the grid emission factor), which is conducive to start emission reduction on the consumer side. It also realizes the archive and analysis of the grid carbon dioxide emission factor data over the years, and standardizes the calculation of carbon dioxide emissions from electricity consumption in regions, industries, enterprises, and other units to ensure the comparability of results. This system is able to compile regional greenhouse gas emission inventories and provide support for auditing the carbon dioxide emissions in electricity consumption by industries, enterprises, and other institutions.

The system is based on the IPCC and the "Provincial Greenhouse Gas Inventory Compilation Guidelines (Trial)".
